Miller Howe has been running residential cookery course in November each year for more than 30 years started by our then chef / patron John Tovey. Our head Chef Andy Beaton who trained alongside Ramond Blanc continues the tradition. Participants arrive in time for afternoon tea by the fire and a chance to relax and settle in before dinner. The courses begin shortly after breakfast each morning and are followed by an informal lunch.
The programme this year is to include: A demonstration from our local butcher, Cooking for Christmas, Canapes, Andy will also be demonstrating all the signature dishes as published in the book "Relish Cumbria in the Lake District"
